Overview The DMG 2100 IP Streamer/Descrambler/Scrambler is a 1RU, carrier class solution for professional operators. Built on a modular platform hosting a wide selection of I/O and processing modules, the DMG 1000 enables solutions tailored to specific customer applications. The DMG 2100 can receive transport streams from a variety of input sources including ASI, IP, DVB-S/S2, DVB-T, DVB-C, descramble and re-scramble selected services, before streaming via IP or ASI. For monitoring of services, the DMG 2100 can be equipped with decoder cards. The DMG 2100 supports full analysis of PSI/SI and regenerates all tables as required. Compared to traditional multiplexing solutions, the DMG 2100 provides a higher density, lower cost and better reliability due to its integrated architecture. The DMG 2100 provides the operator with a web-based Management Interface, which enables remote configuration of all modules, monitoring of their performance, and presentation of service related information. Should a problem be encountered, operators are able to swiftly determine the cause, and faults are easily rectified as all modules can be replaced.
